My Summer Scrapbooking Goal - Update!
Well I am proud to announce I have completed 30 of my 38 pages for my summer scrapbooking goal!! WoooHooo! I got the scrapbooking bug yesterday afternoon and took a few hours to scrapbook and scrapbooked all day today! I am now up to Morgan’s first birthday!! That means I am just a little over a year behind! I’m hoping to be completely caught up by years end! I hope anyway! LOL! If I can get my scrapbooking done, so can you! Make yourself a goal and try to stick to it. Summer doesn’t have to be the end of your scrapbooking days until fall. Try to plan at least a day or two of scrapbooking so you don’t fall so far behind. I know it’s easy to fall behind, trust me! I know all too well!

Many of you have come to my store on a Tuesday and have been disappointed to find out that we are closed. But it is for a good cause, Tuesday is our family fun day! Here is just some of the fun we had this past Tuesday.
We enjoyed a couple of hours at the Echo center in Burlington. Morgan enjoyed all the fish and getting a chance to play in some water and touch star fish. I think touching the star fish was her favorite thing!

Later that afternoon, we went and played some mini golf in Essex. In the picutres below, we have me putting, then Brad and my nephew Drew. Mom kept and eye on Morgan. You’ll see a nice pic of them together. Last we have Morgan trying her hand at mini golf. She found it easier just to pick up the ball and put it in the hole! LOL!

My Scrapbooking Goal For The Summer
Well, as you can see I have managed to get 9 of my 38 pages done. My goal was to get 38 scrapbook pages done this summer and I’m only a 1/4 there! I am having a crop with some friends this Friday so let’s hope I can add another 10 to that! Wish me luck!

Here are some pictures from our Maine Vacation that we took in June!

Too Busy To Know Where The Time Has Gone!
Why is it that when it rains it poors! It just seems like there is always something going on, good or bad. We found out over a week ago that a good friend of my husbands was really sick in Alabama and things were not looking good. Well he passed away last week. Brad worked with Al in New Hampshire a few years ago and really got to know Al and his wife. So they were like family. So it was important that Brad fly to Alabama for the funeral. I was glad he did. I really think he would have regreted not going.
So that left me to run both his business as well as mine this past Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Yes, 4th of July weekend. Fortunately, it wasn’t that busy. So I was able to ease into learning a lot of Brad’s business I had not yet learned. If anything, this trip was a blessing in disguise because now I feel totally comfortable with running his business. So all in all, things went well.
My nephew, Drew, is also here visiting for a month. He arrived last Thursday to find out at the last minute he would have to spend the entire weekend with 3 girls! He is 15 and was a great help this past weekend at the store while I was running both sides! His mom (Brad’s sister) is working at a summer camp for a month. His little brother Eric was attending camp with mom. Since Drew’s dad has a long schedule at the hospital, they figured it would be better if he stay with us while his mom was gone. I think he is having a good time.
Morgan has also been having some issues with going to bed. We think we are getting that back under control. But for the last week and a half we’ve had a wacky sleep schedule! But things are hopefully moving toward getting better.
On a fun note, we went to Crystal Beach on route 30 on Tuesday and enjoyed the nice weather and the lake. Morgan and I enjoyed swimming in the lake, Brad & Drew fished all day and Alice enjoyed relaxing and talking with people at the park. So we had a great relaxing day! Of course we forgot my camera so I don’t have any pictures, but my mom took some so I will see if I can get copies to post here!
On the business side, we’ve been getting a lot of tourist and people from a distance stopping by and checking out our store this summer which is great. Our retreat is now 70% full!! Awesome! There is still room if you want to sign up. You also don’t want to miss our clearance sale on July 19th.
Well I think I’ve rambled enough. I haven’t posted in awhile and just wanted to catch everyone up on things going on. I hope to post more often at this point. Hope everyone had a great July 4th weekend!
